That is, if you've read the first three, what are you waiting for? If you haven't, this is not a good starting place. That said, this book doesn't disappoint, moving the story forward and resolving some threads that have been building for awhile. It doesn't quite resolve everything, leaving the potential for more books, but it doesn't end things on a cliffhanger either. I enjoyed it and look forward to more by this author.

The book is an obviously continuation of the story in that the conflicts established with Europeans in the prior books comes to a close. There no point about writing details of a 4th volume, if you liked the others you will like this one. The only thing I do not like about this book as is it's an obvious ending with no hints to a continuation. I hope the author finds reason to write more about Whiskey in future novels as its hard to find a multi book series I could read long term and this is one of them.
