6 of 6 people found the following review helpful. Wonderfully Funny!! By Dina Flores I was so very thrilled when I found this book and was not disappointed at all. The dragonlings are just precious but the dragon lords....downright hysterical. Not to mention Vox oh that poor, poor, putty cat.As with all of Ms.Susan's books you will feel the love, laugh out loud and just be smiling when it is over. This is a short story but everyone is there having a wonderful time and grandma Pearl just wow!! Looking forward to more of these stories of where Vailder is introduced to Earth holidays.

Earth traditions get second life on new world By Kindle Customer I love these series of different creatures who were at war with each other for generations. The newest generation decided that they would rather be friends and allies then enemies, discovering their soul mates along the way. Now that most of the men have found their mates and have had children with them, one of the girls tells her mate about how she celebrated Easter back on Earth with her grandparents. She was explaining how they celebrated the holiday and asked him what they celebrated on her new world, he told her they didn't because in their own way they celebrated each day after the war. Abby decided that she wanted to give the kids an Easter Egg Hunt and talked with the other women and they got together to decorate eggs for the kids and had their symbolic turn into giant earth bunnies and hide the eggs for the kids to find. The men decided that they would get to "hunt" for hard boiled eggs too, as their dragons and cat wanted the eggs to eat. Never imaging that they would be out smarted by their own children. Leaving Abby just imaging how they would do with other Earth Holidays. I love that she came out with this novella, bringing the different series together in a wonderful children's holiday. To bring a simple holiday from Earth to these new races to enjoy. Laughter and mischievous happening between both children and adults.

SmithMy Rating: FIVE DEVILISHLY CUTE STARS*****OMG!!! I love, love, love this story! S.E. Smith has knocked it out of the park with A Dragonlings' Easter, the very first book in her brand new outrageously funny series, Dragonlings of Valdier. Although I noted above that this story can be read as a standalone, it will be so much more entertaining if you've already read the books in Smith's Dragons of Valdier, Curizan Warrior and Sarafin Warriors Series. This book features most of the couples from the aforementioned series along with their children who have quickly become toddlers and are more than ready to take center stage in this adventure. Smith has given us a cast of exceptionally mischievous dragonlings, a rambunctious tiger cub and a female Curizan who is still an infant. This is an exceptionally well crafted and beautifully written story featuring an Easter Egg Hunt on Valdier supposedly for the children but of course, the men who are nothing more than overgrown kids themselves, decide to horn in on all the fun and complete chaos ensues! Let the games begin! You'll have to read the book to find out if the woman can rein in their husbands long enough for the children to find the eggs. I don't think those little terrors have a thing to worry about. It seems Aikaterina always has her eye on them! And what a wonderful surprise near the end of the story when Pearl learns the hard way - what goes around, comes around, even for an 60 year old grandma! Oh my! Most adorable story - ever! Deliciously cute, devilishly fun and outrageously funny! I can hardly wait until all the dragonlings and their little partners in crime grow up to each have a book of their own!
