Good story that felt rushed By Author & Book Lover ****This review contains spoilers****I read the first book of the series and loved the story, the premise and the characters. I love the Keepers vs. Reapers storyline, and find it original in the world of paranormal romance/urban fiction. In this book, I felt the story was a little more rushed or missing some detail. The storyline was just a bit more flat, which was surprising considering the fact that there were many twists to the story. Some of the details just didn't connect for me.-I didn't like the way I'd finish a chapter with Hannah's POV and then have to go through the same scene in the beginning of the next chapter in David's POV.-In the scene where the villains from David's past are holding him hostage in his family's home, how did they know to take him there?-I also found myself skeptical of the fact that David would be so readily accepting when he found the truth out about Keepers and Reapers and that he would all of the sudden, magically, be able to see what they see.-Despite the fact that there were twists in the plot, there just wasn't enough tension in the story to keep me fully engaged. I found it a chore to keep reading at times.- Your stories have great ideas and characters behind them, and showing more than telling how a character is feeling I think would enrich the stories and characters more.I will read other books in this series; I'd love to see Aiden have his own book, or at least his own story/romance.

This book started with great concept, but I felt that the story was rushed. Because of it, the logic was thwarted to fully develop into awesomeness--in my opinion. I had enjoyed the tandem of David and Hannah. I wished the author took a different approach in writing their story. On the other hand, I could smell a brewing romance between Liv and Aiden. Not sure how it would become, but it would be a great challenge for the author to make it so. I am looking forward to the next installment.

Love the Estmond Family By TinaMDonnelly I listened to this book on audio.Keeper of the Peace is the second book in the Graveyard Guardians Series and follows Hannah Estmond as she deals with being accused of murder. To make things worse her ex boyfriend who broke her heart is the detective investigating the death. Too bad no one can know that it was really a Reaper she killed.Author Jennifer Malone Wright had me hooked from the first chapter. I had already fell in love with the Estmond family in Keeper vs. Reaper, the first book in the series. When things get tough, this family sticks together. Of course there are arguements and disagreements between them, but that just lends to the authentic feeling of their close-knit bond. It was so great to get to revisit this family and get a closer look at Hannah's life. This series is so darn addicting. I highly recommend it and I am on pins and needles awaiting the next book. I can't wait to see what the author throws at us next.*I listened to this book on audio. I have to say it made it feel even more realistic.
