Boley The great thing about Jeffrey Ford's writing is that he can take a simple concept--a boy sees dark visions that can only be suppressed by thyme--and spin it into a deeply imaginative tale. He does that in high fashion with THE THYME FIEND, a charming story that simultaneously will have readers filled with nostalgia for simpler childhood times and wonder at Ford's uniquely subtle imagination. I loved it so much that I gifted a copy to a friend of mine. This is one that you'll want to share!
