Visually things get a bit confusing as the reader must carefully follow which character is from which timeline as they do battle with their doppelganger. Yes, each of their costumes are slightly altered. They’re still similar, though, at first glance. Fans of the Batman and Justice League Beyond Universe will definitely appreciate what’s offered within the pages of this book.

Perfect story for Fans of the DC\ cartoon world and the DCU in general By alexi_m From the digital comics to the written pages, the Justice Lord Beyond Collection brings together Batman Beyond and the Justice League Beyond in a crossover where our heroes face off the Justice Lords, an alternative fascist Justice League from Earth 50 (see Multiversity Guide Book). If you were fan of the Justice League Universe cartoon you might remember the two part episode that included the invasion of the Justice Lord and face the present Justice League. Even if you haven't seen the cartoon you get a very good background story that explains who these guys were and why they have come to back invade the Earth 50 years later. This time the Justice Lords the JLB, who this timeline's Justice League which is made up of an aging Superman and strong young variations of the JL team members including Batman, Aquagirl, Green Lantern, the Flash, Micron (a.k.a the Atom), as well as Mr. Miracle and Big Barda. During this invasion Batman Beyond aka Terry McGinnis travels to the Justice Lord world to seek the help of Lord Batman to help fight the fascist Lord Superman. In his travels he meets finds his alternative self working the streets as a Joker and tries to save him off the street while fighting for their lives in this fascist world.This story is both exciting and puts together the origin of one of the coolest characters in the entire DCU. There is not really any weakness to the story except for a little bit of melodrama but apart from that it super well drawn for both sides of the crossover. The Batman Beyond has the look and feel of the original cartoon with seemless transitions between the half pages, which is it was printed originally online. THe JLB art is really well done as well and reminds very much of the Black Science art if you know what I'm talking about. Now as the last written Justice League Beyond story this is nicely wrapped up by Christos Gage with the assistance of Kyle Higgins on his Batman Beyond side of the crossover story. If you like this I highly recommend you get the Justice League Beyond from Christos Gage and the other Batman Beyond books by Kyle Higgins.I highly recommend this especially for fans of the alternative looks to your favorite heroes this is perfect as well. What's interesting This storyline came out during a time when there were a bunch of bad Superman out there in the DCU including Injustice, Earth 2, Forever Evil, and Superdoomed. IF you had a chance to read all those maybe you tired of it or maybe it would sastify you to complete what the Evil Superman 2013- 2014 Legacy.

Levenstam If you loved Batman: Beyond and the Justice Lords episodes of Justice League, you'll love this too. Just (no pun intended) be aware that it's a bit less focused on Terry and Bruce, and a bit more focused on the two Supermen (Supermans?!) and Diana than a typical episode of Batman: Beyond. Even if you don't know either TV series, you will probably find it good alternative superhero fiction, with plenty of action but also thought provoking.
