About the Author Dina Haynes is the pseudonym for an author who has always called the San Francisco Bay Area home, though she currently resides in Southern California. Doug is taking back controll By Kristy Heinicke I received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.WOWZER what can I say about 'Werelover'?? other than BOOK HANGOVER!! I couldn't put it down & it was after 3am when I finished reading. It had me HOOKED from the start. 'Werelover' is book 3 in Dina's "Leopards Unleashed" series & I do recommend that you start with book 1. Although you can read & understand most of what happening without reading the first couple of books, you will miss out on alot of backstory..... I strongly suggest you start from book 1!Doug has spent the last 4 years under Miranda's cruel hands & he wants to escape from her grasp, he's had enough. Doug isn't as confident as he should be & it's all down to Miranda's man-handling ways. Doug's brother comes to town & things for Doug start to take a different turn as he starts to feel himself grow. Eve is keeping a massive secret from everyone, including her best friend Siddhima. Doug & Eve cross paths & slowly get to know one another.....Dina knows how to keep her readers on their toes & the edge of their seats, every time you think you've figured out how things are going to happen, BAM.... something sneaks up & smacks you in the head! There are so many surprises throughout the book, it made it such an easy read. I love the growth that both Doug & Eve do in this book, they both start out with so much baggage. It was lovely to read how they helped one another grow, emotionally & figuratively. Dina has definitely lived up to my expectations with 'Werelover' & I can't wait for anymore books in this series & others in the future!
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. My Favorite So Far! By Just a book fan I have LOVED both books 1 and 2 of this series, but this might just be my favorite out of the series so far. Why? Because there is just something so charming and sexy about Doug! I fell in love with this character back in book 1 when he was one third of MacKenzie’s love triangle. I was so taken by him that I wasn’t completely certain which man I wanted Mac to end up with. So I was very excited to learn that Doug was finally going to get his own story, and Ms. Haynes did not disappoint on this one!What I love most about this story is that we get to watch Doug grow and become his own man. And FINALLY stand up to a certain female leopard that has kept him controlled for far too long. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but if you’ve read books 1 and 2 you know what I’m talking about! It’s a joy (not to mention sexy as all get out) to watch him go from a subservient mentality to gaining confidence and power in himself and his own abilities. And the triangle created by his love interest, Eve, and his brother … O. M. G!I read this book in one day. I don’t usually do that, but it was 4:30am when I finished it because I simply could not put it down. I tried to at one point, but I had to pick it back up again because I had to find out what was going to happen next. Well done, Ms. Haynes. I can’t wait to read more!

By Mary Barger I really enjoyed the first 2 books in this series, so seeing that this book got more into Doug's past and Eve's I was hooked.Doug had been living life being ordered to do what ever his controlling mistress wants done. When he left once and fell in love with a human, it ended badly for Doug and horribly for his human girlfriend. But he is ready to test the water again and see if someone can love just HIM.Eve is no stranger to weres, and she has a pretty poor opinion of them. Seeing what happened to her best friend and what she knows from her past leaves a bad taste in her mouth where they are concerned.Living in LA, Eve doesn't fit the mold of tall, blonde, plastic and tan. She is a real woman with real curves, not that she enjoys them or embraces them. Meeting Doug for a blind date, she quickly thinks that he is just a tech savvy geek, and is ready to write him off.Something stops her from doing that though and she gives him a second date. From there the story takes off as you learn more about Eve and why she isn't a were fan.What will Doug do when he is forced to tell Eve that he is a were, and one with a shady past too?This series is a must read for readers that enjoy were books!
