Interesting take on alternative history By Ragnorak5215 Building on the alt-world of his anti-ice novel, Baxter paints a world of Victorian sensibilities and mores suddenly in possession of advanced technology and threats from beyond our Earth.Excellent quasi-steampunk adventure.
