Frawesome By Jett Okay, fist off, sorry for any typos, I'm running on fumes; I promptly decided that finishing reading Frostbite took priority over sleep. And boy, did it. Without a doubt, this is the best book in the series thus far. As I am In complete awe of the book, I'll break it down into the most amazing parts.ELENA: Elena was an amazingly strong heroine who blindsided me with her frawesomeness. As the plot unraveled, layer after layer of her new dimensions were revealed, impressing me more and more each time. To top it all off, Elena has just enough flaws and quirks of her own that you can relate to her, or at least as much as us mundane people can.PLOT: Much like all of Adrienne Woods' other books, Frostbite's plot left you on the edge of your seat the whole time (hence my sleep deprived state). At this point, I've given up on guessing what's going to happen, and am just along for the ride. The plot twists are a never ending source of entertainment, and always keep me guessing, yet never disappointed.ANSWERS: Yes, you heard that right, there are some answers in this book!!! I have been patiently(ish) waiting for the answers to so many questions since Firebolt came out, so I literally jumped with joy when I read this book (then promptly fell because my jumping skills are subpar). And let me tell you, the answers were more than worth the wait! Of course, the new cliffhanger(s) are sure to drive me insane until the next book comes out.All in all, Frostbite, by Adrienne Woods, was an amazing read that I highly recommend. Make sure to read the rest of the series first, starting with Firebolt. And for the love of blueberries, hopefully the next book will come out soon! Thanks for another amazing book, Mrs Woods!

I could finally get off from my bed of pins and needles as the mystery of the dark forest was cleared up. Writing was better in this book, compared to the previous two. Elena's character becomes more real. She grows and learns how to deal. My heart went out to her so many times in this one.**SPOILER ALERT**Loved the claiming scene! We'd all expected it but not how it actually turned out. It was awesome how Elena got super angry to see Arianna in the ring to claim Blake and jumped in too. Then the super awesome Cheng tricked Elena into the coliseum with Blake from where Blake didn't let her escape. The showdown was frawsome! I loved king Albert's part in the fight. When Blake finally yielded, I whooped for our badass heroine as she finally found her powers, her place and her dragon.But then......Blake oh Blake! Stupid, idiotic, prideful and complete drama queen Blake! He just freaking left! For the entire remaining book. He wasn't there when Elena really needed his support, with the council, press and her own personal demons. Not even the telepathic calm-downers :(Why was Blake removed from action like that? This was my only issue with this book. Blake isn't a coward who'd run away like this, but the type of guy/dragon who'd confront Elena and be a douche to her face to face. But he did leave. We didn't even have a drunk Blake sighting.**End of Spoilers**So I am waiting for Moon Breeze to see how this very impossible relationship grows. But hey, there is a very thin line between love and hate, passion being the basic ingredient for each. Whatever Elena and Blake might tell each other, it is no secret that they affect each other in ways no one really understands. So lets see how this actual claiming goes.

I highly recommend this book and am amazed with the author's ability to tell and create a story. After reading Thunderlight I was not sure how the storyline would develop into the conclusion I thought from the beginning. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole book and I can honestly say that Ms. Woods was masterful and really had me believing the outcome. I loved that we got to see more of Blake and also a look into the evil he deals with. The big thing that we all were anticipating was so well put together and I felt like I was actually there in the excitement of it all. I had a big smile on my face the whole time I was reading this and thought "finally". I agree with another reader that this series should be made into a movie. It was that good. All of your questions will be answered. I cannot believe how everything came together. I was left in a state of surprise and the process of the truth being revealed was nothing like I thought. The relationship that was beginning to be developed between Blake and Elena was believable and romantic!! But the world itself was what shined and the characters that flowed in the story fit and made sense. I can't wait until the next book to see how everything wraps up. High praises for this book and a definite high recommendation. Clean book as well with some language though.
