From the Author This book is a stand alone novel based in the Guardian AI universe. It starts just after the events in Guardian Generations then skips ahead of Guardian Rogue (The third book in the Guardian AI trilogy) without giving away any secrets or spoiling the end of the trilogy. So you can safely read it on it's own, but I would suggest after Guardian Generations.

At one point I was beginning to wonder if it was going to be a bit too steamy for me, but as I moved through the book that part smoothed out and made sense from a human nature/romantic perspective. I also liked the way the author put his storyline together. There were quite a few times when I thought I knew where the story was going, but missed the boat completely. That is something I like to see in the books I read. When I finished reading the book I initially wished it had been longer, but I would have been disappointed if he had gone on for pages just to stretch it out. I read and liked both Guardian Awakening and Guardian Generations. Beyond The Fall may be more like the futuristic romance genre, but I'm not sure about that. I would not hesitate to recommend this book mature readers.

The main character didn't seem that developed to me; it's more an action driven tale. Weird things keep happening to the main character that make you wonder what could possible happen next. The author has adult themes that work but aren't suitable for more tender audiences.The author describes the world building well and I felt "you were there", which is important to me. The actual writing made me feel like I was watching an entertaining "B" movie. I will not give away the twists, so that is all I am going to say.
