I was absolutely delighted to see installment 7 By Patroo I was absolutely delighted to see installment 7, and will keep following this book series until the cows come home. This one is edited better than previous volumes, but it could still use a bit of grammatical polishing and apostrophe removal.The story line keeps getting more complex, with traitors infesting the US military, Islamic insurgents working in concert with them, and a government that's overwhelmed by the chaos. The little band of travelers in their RVs continues to move constantly to stay ahead of attacks, and it's becoming apparent that the attackers have a personal vendetta against the group, whether out of revenge for their past depredations against the invaders, or because they have the smarts to hurt them. The RVers have a mix of ages and whatever the need, there's always someone to be found who can write computer code, set up weapons and surveillance, or go hunting for tonight's dinner. As an RVer, it's fun to read a series that's RV-based.

By thingsinmyheadblog When I started this series I thought it would be lame or fizzle out with the story line starting to go into circles with nowhere to go. I could not have been further from the truth! I had gone through 5 of the books before I realized it and now after book 7 I am disappointed there isn't more yet! I am invested in the lives of Frank and Jane and their "inner circle" even Lucy and Mr. Wonderful. Robert Boren is a writer who has such an attention to detail, even when he mentions things that seem unimportant and trivial, it serves to draw you further into your minds eye picturing everything in such detail- I even know how the characters like their coffee!I don't know what I am going to do when this series finally ends, I have to admit that I hope it doesn't, at least not in my lifetime LOL.

I have become close to several of the characters, but I am ready for Robert to wrap this up. I want to know what happens to my favorites. Don't get me wrong I have really enjoyed the books so far and I will continue to look for books by this author in the future. I just want to know what happens.
