1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. these are not perfect, but boy are they fun! By Gilly 4.5, these books are full of an old codger of a space explorer. He is rusty, but heck yes does he rise to the occasion again and again to save the universe. He is cranky, and the exploration of space is still fairly recent and solar system based mostly. He is CRAGGY. :) Try this light space opera for fun and exploration. These books have very little violence compared to most space opera, light exploration, but the characters are eccentric and fun.

This really is light, humorous, what if every living creature out there is just like us but in a different costume kind of sci-fi. There's war, politics, negotiation, home life, and just plain every day life involved in all 6 Craggy books. In general terms, just fun reading of what the future could be like. Not a Star Trek or Star Wars future, just a, "well maybe their not so different" future where there's always a happy ending.
