I was so sad when it ended - I finished it at lunch today at work, and everyone in the lunchroom got to hear my outburst, "oh man! No!" I honestly could've read this forever. I don't usually wish for a fourth book in a trilogy, but I really, REALLY wish there was another. I also don't normally buy the rest of a series when I get the first book free, but this one was well worth it. You definitely get a sense of realism, like this could really happen (did really happen? Ahhh...). I'm going to check out the 'other' part of it, too.Congrats Andreas Christensen, you just moved into the realm of My Favorite Series, which means you share the title with JRR Tolkein, Diana Gabaldon, and Robert Jordan. No sci-fi there, as you see, only fantasy. Until I read your books. Thank you for the most wonderful series I've read in quite some time.

By Pauline Starr Just finished this series in the original books and was so floored not only by the story line and character development, but by the visual pictures of a future world(s). Mr. Christiansen is a terrific writer and I cannot wait to read more of his books. Sci-fi has always been my thing since I discovered it at the age of 12, now at 71 and seeing how far we have come, reading Mr. Cristiansen's description of what could happen in the future is even more exciting!

A very good Sci-Fi adventure book By A Senior Citizen Not read the trilogy in the omnibus form but the original books.Excellent story and well told.The politics of the colonists, make the story very feasible and most enjoyable to read.I will most likely read the whole story again soon.
