M.Lathan has a way woth words that makes it easy for you to truly get invested in the story. This being the final installment in the series made it all the more exciting.I love the development of the characters and storyline.Lydia and Sophia's patronizing while frustrating were understandable. If they just got over it , I would be angry that they didn't act like they should've.Remi's p.o.v gave wonderful insight on her twisted way of thinking. She was really just a sad sad person.In the end I lobe how you managed to give us a wedding scene and tell us that they had a family, and that somehow everyone got a happy ending.

I had read the first book last year and had forgotten about it and then one of the series showed up on my list to read. I pulled up the first book and started reading again before I bought the other books. I'm glad I did because I fell in love with the characters. I couldn't hardly wait to get finished with one before I was reading the next. Ms. Lathan did an excellent job with this series. Definitely will recommend to my friends to read. I'm looking forward to more from her. Excellent writing!

I got all four books. I thought in the beginning that it was orphaned kid and then teenagers. How mistaken I was. So many great strong characters. Mystical, good Magic,bad Magic, demons, and beast. Past , present and future continually unfolding. I hated to see it end but it had a great ending. Truly M.Lathan is so talented. I could see every tree, waves, sand, people,houses it was truly all painted in my head. Do not miss reading these four books. Real problem is what can I read after this?????
