About the Author Born and raised in sunny Southern California, Teresa Yea prefers the shade because that’s how she rolls. She is a UCLA graduate, a science geek by degree, bookworm at heart. By Sarah Marsh If you love a gorgeous romance steeped in Gothic atmosphere, or mysterious monsters and fight scenes that make your heart race, I can't recommend LOVE IN A TIME OF MONSTERS enough! The characters in this book don't always make the right choices, but that's part of what draws you in and keeps you reading. They're all relatable in some way, even the 'villains.' And the stunning backdrop of Scottish castles and dark forests will fuel your imagination and keep you reading late into the night.This book is perfect for fans of THE MADMAN'S DAUGHTER, A GREAT AND TERRIBLE BEAUTY, and the dark, glittering atmosphere of the movie MOULIN ROUGE!

I was extremely fascinated and captivated by the characters and storyline.Rob and Cat are an awesome duo (sort of Duo because Cat is really leading the show!) as they encounter monsters and make their way through amazing settings. Castles and forests and Scotland--come on! I was so immersed in this story that I felt like I was following behind them. Teresa's writing is dark, gorgeous and layered--you won't regret taking this journey!The one flaw you'll probably find with this book is that it doesn't have a movie deal---yet. : )

The setting is beautiful and magical Scotland By Kaffy The setting is beautiful and magical Scotland, where mythical creatures thrive alongside humans. The story is compelling and enchanting, with characters who each has their own unique personalities, that you can't help but fall in love with. Teresa is very good at painting pictures in your head as you read, and you can't help but feel like you are on the adventure with the characters.Each chapter ends with suspense, and it was difficult for me to put the book down! I just couldn't stop reading. I'm a picky reader but this is a book I know I'll be reading more than once.If you're up for a good read and ready to fall in love, I highly recommend this!
