Very well done and wonderfully sets up the upcoming novel, Element Wielder By Angad Dubashi I loved every second I spent reading this book. Not only is it a great story on its own, but it does a great job at leading into the first book of the Void Wielder Trilogy, Element Wielder (Which I also loved BTW)!IN Element Wielder, there were a few reference to a legendary wielder simply known as Golden Wielder. I was glad to get the chance to dwelve into his shtory and get to know him.The story follows Aadi, a young orphan that has grown up in the streets fending for himself. In the planet of Va'siel, where the story takes place, people can wield elements. However, The element of Earth has been gone for some time, leading for the land to become arid and kind of post-apocalyptic.It is here where we join Aadi as his adventure takes off.I loved the fast-paced flow of the story and the supporting characters.I also very much enjoyed seeing some familiar faces return (though much younger).So to wrap it up. Cesar Gonzalez weaved an great story of action, drama, romance, and fantasy that comes together quite nicely. The characters were lovable, and the ending left me craving more.If you haven't read Element Wielder yet, I HIGHLY recommend you begin your adventure into Va'siel here and see what you been missing out on. And if you have, then read it and see how it all began.It's a young adult novel, but I can see anyone of any age enjoying this. Young, old, and anyone in between will love this story.

By Laisha Decuante Hey.I wrote a review on the sequel, and felt the need to also leave a quick review for the prequel.Pros-- Perfectly sets up the sequel: Element Wielder. And I do mean perfectly. The last line really brings everything together in a nice little package.-The protagonist, Aadi. I loved him. In many ways, he's an even more fleshed out and better character than his successor, Falcon Hyatt.- Intriguing story that was hard to put down.CONS-My only main complaint it was that it was a little over 40k words. I just wish it would have been a bit longer. I do understand. It was only meant as a prequel to a trilogy, but still.Golden Wielder has all the things that make Element Wielder into such a strong series. Likeable characters, amazing and original world building, and a awesome idea behind the elements.We've all seen the usual tired fire, water, earth, control. Right? Well, the author adds a fresh, much needed spin into this.I'm about to read book 2, guys. I'll be back with a review on it soon.
