She is now as bad as the creatures she kills because now like them she has no remorse. Like them she believes she is doing things for the greater good. A sad ending to a series that could've been so much more. Who defines the greater good? If it's she who has the most power like the godmother, then all the fairytale lands are in danger from this godmother.

Highly recommend for any fairy tale with a twist fans. The book does have a slightly darker feel but the banter between the 2 main characters lightens it up considerable.
