By this book you can build a simple virtual machine with just two commands and no configuration.You can also create a development environment that closely resembles production. You will change Vagrant’s default operating system to match your production OS and extend Vagrant features with plugins, including components you build yourself.

I was very new to the program but this book helped me out immensely. Very easy to read and very good instructions. I recommend this book to any beginner.

This book provides a brief overview of the virtual-machine manager technology. It really go through all aspects of how to work with Vagrant. I read this book twice, first time as a really vagrant beginner and second time to order my knowledge. There were good examples on how Vagrant works and can be utilized. My only grief was that the examples were pretty basic and seemed to only scratch the surface.It is nice, easy to read and show everything you need to know.
