2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. wonderful story! By Skip What a fantastic retelling of the Red Riding Hood fable. A unique take with werewolves, silver and the charming addition of Red as an other worldly savior. Daria's role as police seeking revenge yet holding onto the belief that there would be some way of saving her family came out just right. Two strong main characters taking on the evil while harboring some of that evil in themselves played strongly on the emotions and keeps you right on edge throughout the entire tale. Excellent reading and I can't wait to see even more of these two.

By InkedRainbowReads FourStarsA very different adaptation of the traditional fairy tale. This short novel was delightfully entertaining and detailed enough to make the whole thing almost believable. The strength of the two main character's and the smart and at times very amusing dialogue between them was one this books strengths. I found the plot did become a little confusing half way through when Daria and Red were alone in fending off the wolves and I am still not sure how Daria became able to transform. However the author quickly brought things back on track and the novel continued to entertain and delight.I was surprised at some of the rather edgy dark sections in the novel and was not sure they complimented an otherwise enchanting tale of the supernatural. You will enjoy reading this book if you like strong beautiful and resourceful women who have a growing passion for each other which is cleverly left to the readers imagination. You will wolf it down.I was also impressed with the imaginative conclusion, the dynamic duo descending on London, including British readers into the tale. Cleverly done.I was given this in return for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads.~Chris

I just couldn't put the book down and had to complete the read in one sitting. Needless to say i read to the early morning. The story revolves around two main women characters in a time where humans have built walls around our cities to keep out the werewolves. A deadly virus which is spread by one bite of a werewolf, is rampaging through the world. Daria a Cop with a history needs to find out why there is a change in the werewolves behavior. The werewolves have as late become a lot more aggressive and a lot more focused on attacking the walled cities. During a breach of a perimeter, Daria is saved from being infected as she battles with a werewolf by Mari a mysterious Red Caped heroin. Together they battle side by side in a flight for the human race. As the story unfolds we realize the plan to over take the world started many centuries before.
