2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Belonging By DonnaHok Megan is human and was raised by the Alpha and his wife. Reese is the Overseer and scares everyone. By chance the two meet very briefly and Reece is determined to have her without even knowing who she is. But trouble comes from several sides. And Megan is more than even she knows. After a kidnap attempt on Megan and Reese being the one to rescue her, he’s now determined to have her in all ways. This is a self-contained story that is well written and very entertaining to read.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Intoduced to a new writer By Ginny Enjoyable story if a bit too complex for the length and storyline. The end was much too short as if the writer had lost interest or had already moved on to thinking about the next story. HUGE HUGE HUGE confusion in writing styles, first /second/third person, confusing points of view, and basic grammar and tenses - I didn't check but it was as if the second half of the story was unedited or done so by a poor editor and the writer is from a country where English is a second language (seriously, if you read this you will see exactly what I mean). The heroine developed additional powers which were gratuitous and a good editor would have nixed that - turning into a red wolf with those mysterious unknown powers was enough, adding super witch powers was over the top. Also the lead went from innocent overprotected girl doing her accounting business to Suzy Homemaker / Lolita with no real personality. The hero suffered from the same problem as the reader is initially introduced to a raging Alpha male determined to kill everyone he doesn't like and bed females left and right, then he gets all laid back and allows everyone to live and is all concerned about politics and bounties? Again a good editor would have corrected this.I will be interested to see where this writer goes in the future.
