A Short Story That Packs a Punch By Denise “Chlorophyllium 9” is a great beginning to a tale I can see blossoming into a full-length Ray Bradbury-style novel. Suspense builds from the beginning in a science-fiction story-line that melds technical details with a romantic element. The protagonist’s motives are well-established, and his likeable/principled nature fuel his need to discover the fate of his girlfriend, while saving the world. This is a short, enjoyable read that science-fiction fans will certainly enjoy.

Brady Frost is a great little escape into a broken, fallen world and those who have been sent on a mission to save Earth. I loved the beginning, which pulls you in right away due to the main protagonist's extreme measures regarding his loved one (I don't want to give anything away). Chlorophyllium 9 had everything I look for in a story: romance, hidden motives, corrupt governmental secrets, and a protagonist willing to do whatever it takes for the woman he loves. It was a bit technical for me at times, which is no fault of the author's, who is fantastically skilled at delving right into the hard science of things. Wonderful piece of work!
