But just as I was really getting into the story ".BAM."...THE END.....I will be waiting for the next book in this series. (about the book) In a world where you either chose to become a vampire.and rule over the humans, or you become their feeder and you breed feeders. OR you seek a way out
10 of 11 people found the following review helpful. Interesting Idea. Terribly Written. By Anda It's like the author has a five second attention span. He/she alternately start saying something and then forgets to finish it up or repeats the same idea 17 different times in the marginally different ways. The redundancy could be excused if it weren't for the general issue with the content. The descriptions are awful. The dialogue is trite. There is very little character development. There's really altogether nothing to hold onto. I gave up a little over a third of the way through because I just couldn't do it.

I have never read anything by this author before. I do love vampire stories, even though I spend more time just looking for readable books in this genre than actually reading them. So, I was was a bit apprehensive about this new vampire series by H.T Night. However, I thoroughly enjoyed this. The world and characters were smartly laid out before much happened. When things did start happening, it was meaningful. That said, this story was surprisingly heavy on romance with characters who are 18-22ish. While I do not particularly like romances, or "emerging adult" fiction, ( I could not make it past the first 20 pages in Twilight) I will follow this series. I look forward to, not only a resolution to what happened at the end, but what the external world is going to be like and how the two worlds will interact, or clash.
